Ashbury Golf Hotel Oakwood

The Oakwood course is the shortest of the courses on offer at the Ashbury Golf Hotel but it makes up for its lack of length by demanding that the golfer think about each and every shot. Ashbury Golf Hotel has become one of the most well known golf resorts in the region boasting seven 18 hole options across five courses. As part of an ongoing renovation project the Ashbury Oakwood course has seen the planting over over 1100 trees in recent years and some holes have been subtly improved or changed. Look out in particular for the par 3 16th which has recently been extended. Bunkers guard the green to the left and right but even avoiding them can pose problems if you find yourself on the wrong level of the two tier green: three putts are very common here. Residents at the nearby Manor House Hotel can also use the courses while the Ashbury Golf Hotel also boasts splendid swimming, entertainment and other sporting facilities.
