Media Reviews
GreenFreeAboyne Loch Golf Club lends character and scenic beauty to the course as well as providing a hazard to be avoided on the last hole of the somewhat flat outward nine. Thereafter, Aboyne Loch Golf Course climbs gently and from the highest point provides magnificent views of some lovely Aberdeenshire countryside.

Aboyne golf course is your classic course of two halves. The front nine has a very open parkland feel to it as you play through the trees. The back nine is the older looking nine set on the side of the hill. This does not necessarily make it easier and there are some great par-3s at 12 and 14. The last hole is a gentle finish and the 1980s style clubhouse makes up for in views what it lacks in character. Played Aboyne with an Open Fiarways deal and it was great value for a fun round of golf.
