Royal Aberdeen Golf Club Balgownie Links

Royal Aberdeen Golf Club Balgownie Links was originally laid down by Archie and Robert Simpson of Carnoustie before being updated by James Braid. Donald Steel & Co are now employed to ensure the historic links remains a modern course. The outward are nine are widely regarded as the best run of links holes anywhere in the world. Balgownie provides a typically challenging links experience with well placed bunkers, a variety of holes, wind and small greens. Royal Aberdeen Balgownie will host the 2011 Walker Cup.

Royal Aberdeen Golf Course will be in most people's top 5 favorite links courses. It is just superb. Some of the best greens in the country mixed with a layout to match any links course in the world, Royal Aberdeen is as good as they come. The first three holes are just perfect holes and if you get a windy day, you will do well to play to your handicap. Royal Aberdeen Golf Club = great clubhouse, perfect setting, amazing course!
