Mountain View

A picturesque course designed on a plateau, Mountain View Golf Club offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Kilkenny countryside. The club was founded in 1997 and has already matured into a challenging course for golfers of all levels. It is situated just 12 miles from Kilkenny City and 14 miles from Waterford City and hence is readily accessible from anywhere in the South East. Originally just nine holes, the construction of the second nine was completed and was open for play in October 2000. Because of its natural drainage and sand based greens, Mountain View Golf Course is not adversely affected by heavy rain or constant wet conditions and as a result the course is available for play all year round. A large man-made lake comes into play on four holes at Mountain View Golf Club which adds to the enjoyment of the challenge for all golfers.

Offers & Services

Mapped By SkyCaddie

A Tour caddie paces every hole, and every green, to get accurate yardages - and so should you. ONLY SkyCaddie® mappers walk every golf course using survey-grade GPS backpacks, marking up to 40 critical targets for each hole - including contours, distances to hazards, fairway targets and layups which may be invisible to laser rangefinders. Don't rely on old aerial photographs - trust SkyCaddie to give you the most reliable information in the game.
