Millport Golf Club was opened on the Isle of Cumbrae in 1888 and today continues to thrill visitors with the quality of both the golf on offer and the views it provides across the Firth of Clyde. The course was redesigned by James Braid and today measures just under 6000 yards. A start that is not for the fainthearted includes out of bounds on the first seven holes and out of bounds two both the right and left on the 2nd hole. Millport Golf Course is a heathland course but like so many course in the area the wind can have a real affect on your game!
