The Tommy Halpin designed Millicent Golf Club opened in 2001 and since then, with well placed sand traps, lakes and the looming presence of the famous River Liffey, the course has become increasingly popular with golfers of all abilities. The front skirt the perimeter of the course, completly circling the back nine. Thanks to the gravel based soil Millicent Golf Club has been described as the driest in Leinster allowing it to open for play throughout the year. The course measure over 7000 yards with a par of 73 and the first two holes, both par fives, ensure the course starts with a bang.
