One of the most established and historic golf courses in Portgual, Estoril Golf Club was a firm favourite of the Duke of Windsor and as one of the Portuguese Open's most established venues has played host to some of the greatest players in European and world golf, spanning the generations from Gene Sarazen through Max Faulkner to Seve Ballesteros. The course, designed by Mackenzie Ross, is famed for the thrilling play and wonderful views provided by its par threes. Visitors may like to stay at the Estoril Palacio Hotel which is owned by the golf course.
