Within ten miles of St Andrews,Cupar Golf Club, is thought to be the oldest 9-hole golf course in existences. The course is at Hilltarvit on to the southern side of Cupar and features nine beautiful holes on alternative tees. It provides an entertaining challenge for players of all abilities. The Cupar Golf Club, established in 1892, is a parkland course with greens cut into the hillside and the club is proud that the course is maintained in excellent condition. The course measure 5153 yards and the longets hole is 417 yards. The length of the course gives members a wonderful chance of breaking 80 if they play regularly. The 18th is a short par 4 in view of the clubhouse and offers a wonderful birdie chance to cap a fine days golf.
