In 1998 the classic Balcomie links was joined by the new Crail Craighead Links. The course was designed by an American, Gil Hanse, but incorporates the classic hallmarks of Scottish links golf. The design is such that no two holes face the same way and the golfer faces constantly changing conditions that must be negotiated. The course, which offers views of both sea and country, has been designed to offer a fair test to golfers of all abilities. |
