Yonex Nanospeed 3i Irons

4 stars out of 5 (Based on 1 reviews)

The Yonex Nanospeed 3i Iron are combination irons that have been designed to make shot making easier for all golfers. The long irons in the Yonex 3i range feature a wide sole and a wide cavity that makes striking these occasionally trick clubs easier and more consistent than ever before and produces distance combined with forgivness. The middle irons promote distance and control with a pocket cavity while the wedges offer the ultimate in control through their half cavity. The Nanospeed 3i have been designed to ensure that the low centre of gravity remains consistent throughout the set. All the irons use Yonex's new Nanoscience shaft technology.

The Yonex Nanospeed 3i Irons featurs a carbon composite clubhead with 3D power weighting that deliver Yonex’s highest ever moment of inertia to promote forgiveness and directional stability. The thin walled clubface delivers high ball speeds and helps keep the centre of gravity low to produce the optimum ball flight on every shot. The Yonex Nanospeed 3i Irons deliver performance, forgiveness and consistency and are ideally suited to any golfer looking for high performance game improvement irons.

Yonex Nanospeed 3i Irons Review

The Yonex Nanospeed 3i irons offer great feel and, as Yonex promised, are very easy to hit. The large offset does suggest they are aimed at the mid handicap market or the game improver who is not afraid to spend a bit of cash. The short and mid irons really are lovely at address and the confidence given by the oversize head is certainly going to be a help if you are looking for game improvement clubs. The longer irons are strange looking – these really are looks that only a mother could love. The flange on the back looks odd and the hollow cavity produces a hollower, less solid sound at impact than in the short irons. The impression is of a wood with no back and it is quite a strange feel to hit them. Having said they that the longer irons are superb from the rough. So, despite the odd looks of the longer irons, we were big fans of the Yonex Nanospeed 3i irons but they are quite expensive.
