The Yonex EZONE SD Hybrid features a 15% lighter Carbon Graphite Crown that allowed Yonex to redistribute weight using an Inner Weight System, lower and deeper in the clubhead. The result of this is consistently high, long shots from a greater variety of lies. Yonex also altered the stainless steel sole design by reducing the amount of material that comes into contact with the turf by 30%, maintaining head speeds and reducing drag. Combined with the EZONE SD's Muscle Power Face, even the energy transfered from the off-centre hits is maximised.

The Yonex EZONE SD Hybrid is finished with a Nanospeed 200 shaft that reduces shaft deformation and increases clubhead speed thanks to it's Elastic Ti kick-point.
