3.5 stars out of 5 (Based on 2 reviews)

The Cyberstar VX Irons feature ground breaking Carbon Graphite composite technology fused with an ultra thin (1.2mm) steel face to produce a hollow head design. The thin face maximises ball speed by flexing on impact while the elasticity of the hollow carbon core generates 3% more power into the ball as it releases more impact energy. The ultimate benefit is a club that flies the ball further and higher for improved ball control.

Yonex Cyberstar VX Irons Review

The Yonex Cyberstar VX irons are the latest in the trend of composite clubs. Weight from the steel head is replaced by graphite to improve the forgiveness, increase the resistance to twisting and lower the centre of gravity. In the Cyberstar VX Irons, Yonex have acheived everything in a stylish design. The heads looked compact at address, even though they had a thickish top line that will appeal to higher handicappers, especially on the long irons for added confidence. Performance wise they were good and offered everything you would expect from a premium iron. It's close but our preference for a composite set of irons would be the more expensive Callaway Fusions.

The Yonex Cyberstar VX Graphite irons looked and felt far too chunky and clunky. They were easy to hit but I didn't like the look off them or how thick the top line was when looking down on them. Ball flight was far too high and when you take into consideration the price, you, in my opinion don't get what you pay for.
