The Wilson Staff Fg59 irons are a classic forged blade developed in the tradition of the classic FG series of forged Wilson irons and as a result of two years consumer testing the look and performance of the irons does justice to the moniker commemorating the number of Major championships with Wilson irons following Padraig Harrington’s first major win at Carnousite in 2007. The Staff Fg59’s feature a wider sole than previous FG blades and a low muscle design has lowered the centre of gravity to promote more consistent striking. Forged from mild carbon steel to produce a responsive feel, the blades are designed with minimal offset to improve workability and trajectory control.
