The Wilson Staff Df6 fairway wood features ETF Technology which harnesses lost energy at impact and redirects it to the club face to create a larger Hot Zone at impact. ETF Technology in effect captures and re-directs these “leaks” by structurally reinforcing the area behind and around the club face without adding material or weight. A proprietary laser welding process adds a discrete weld line around the periphery of the head that frames the face. Also in the Wilson Staff Df6 fairway wood are two L-Pods (Launch Pods) in the sole. A pair of 6-gram nickel tungsten alloy screws is placed in the sole to optimize the trajectory for the golfer’s particular game.
