The new 2009 Vokey Design Spin Milled series of wedges from Titleist are a line-up from master wedge maker Bob Vokey that represents an ideal blend of technology and craftsmanship. With all the wedges having CAD generated profiles, multiple bounce options and tour inspired sole grinds the player has a matrix of performance characteristics to fit a wide range of styles, course conditions and shot making requirements. All the wedges are engineered from soft 8260 carbon steel and are milled with Tour-validated technology to ensure that the faces are perfectly flat and the grooves are machined with a special circular saw-style cutting tour as well as the milling of a series of micro-edges for added face friction. All of this adds up to 30% more groove volume that translates to 10% more spin in the dry and an exceptional 85% more control in wet conditions.
