The is no doubt the Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport is one of the most popular and most attractive looking putters out at the moment. I bought the Newport 2.5 about a year ago and it was the perfect putter, sits very well behind the ball and the overall look and construction of the putter is second to none. The Studio Stainless design gives a very clean look which remains after months of use and doesn?t require much upkeep like some other Scotty Cameron models. Recently, my putting has gone through a poor spell and I felt very unconfident with the Newport. The putter gives a very soft and blunt hit on a putt. On fast greens this can be a great advantage but I found since using other putters, that this is unique to the Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport. I think it is a very hit or miss putter, if you are a confident putter it could be everything you need on and around the greens but if you struggle with putting and are looking for a saviour, the Newport is not for you.
