The new Pro V1x, addresses the performance needs of specific Tour players and better player amateurs who have high balls speeds or impart a lot of spin and prefer lower spin than the Pro V1 offers. New dual core technology in the Pro V1x has been formulated to provide high speed and low spin and is particularly advantageous for high club speed players. A low compression inner core, paired with a firmer formulation outer core increases the overall core compression. Combined with the ionomer casing and the thin, soft urethane outer layer, the Pro V1x offers lower spin on long shots, similar greenside control and comparable feel at high swing speeds to the Pro V1. The Pro V1x features a new 332 dimple design, which during testing was found to be advantageous for high club speed players. The end result is that the Pro V1x delivers superior performance benefits than its predecessor the Pro V1*. The Pro V1x generates longer driver distance and lower driver spin with a higher launch angle and flatter trajectory.
