The 2009 Titleist MB irons can clearly be seen as developing Titleist's roots as a company creating serious golf clubs for serious golfers. The MB iron is a classic muscle back forged iron that has been designed to produces the looks, feel and performance that the best golfers demand from their club.
Already proving popular on the PGA Tour the 2009 MB iron offers constant blade length throughout the set and a minimal progressive offset to give better players a club that inspires superior shot making in both looks and performance. As with all Titleist irons the MB looks excellent with a softer topline and more rounded profile providing the mix of classic and contemporary that golfers expect from all Titleist golf clubs.
An improved muscle shape behind the impact area, and consistent throughout the set, provides the 2009 Titleist MB Iron with a much improved feel while their extreme workability is provided by Tour standard lofts for the ultimate shot and trajectory control. The MB also features dual hosel lengths with shorter hosels in the long irons improving launch conditions and longer hosels helping to control the flight of mid and low irons.

The first thing that strikes you about the Titleist MB irons is that they look great as we had expected from a new Titleist launch. We were also very impressed with the feel which was excellent for a blade and hitting them was a real pleasure, especially when we managed to hit the ball dead centre. The MB has a smaller clubhead and a narrower sole than the Titleist CB irons so although we highly recommend these irons we have to stress that they are suitable for very low handicappers and elite amateurs only.
