An absolutley AWESOME driver. Everything about the Titleist 983K is right, its weight, its feel, the way it looks sat behind a ball, its just the best driver I have ever used. For a big metal driver it even makes a nice noise, as close to a persimmon driver sound as a metal gets. Get the right shaft flex and don't be afraid to go with a higher loft than you THINK you need. Definitely a club for the better player, off centre hits and poor shots will be terrible, only a good swing and a good strike will be rewarded but when then they fly.... I'm hitting shots further now, with less effort than when I was 15 years younger, more supple and playing off about 3 or 4 strokes lower handicap. BUY ONE NOW THEY ARE CHEAP

Since using the Titleist 983K Driver, I have found an immense improvement in my driving ability and distance. It took the place of the Titleist 975D Driver in my bag and I have really found it is a higher quality Driver. The launch angle is perfect for my game, slightly high to medium ball flight that still produces fair run on solid fairways. It has a great look behind the ball and really produces explosive length with relatively smooth swings. This helps any rough spells in my driving, as any troubles I have mean I do not have to give up distance as I swing slower. My Titleist 983K Driver has 8.5 degrees of loft and a Proforce Gold shaft (75 gram, low Torque, stiff). I also use a Lamkin Midsize grip; all these factors allow me to have a lot of confidence with this Driver. It may not have the forgiveness of a Callaway or Taylor Made, but for a solid player there are few better drivers in the market.

I have only had this Titleist 983K driver a few months, but already I am hitting, longer, sweeter more deliberate drives. This Titleist 983K driver really teaches you to swing well and rewards you when you do. It is one of the easiest clubs to shape with precision and I am now able to hit high, low, fade, draw with ease. I have knocked a few past the 350yard mark with this driver in the summer, so I would definitely call it a long club. Definetly not for those handicaps above 16, but mid to low handicappers will love it. The Titleist 983K club face also sits very square, which I love.
