The Titleist F2 fairway is a very good looking club, as Titleist clubs always are. Compared to previous models the heads seem a little larger for a little more extra forgiveness. The Titleist F2 has a slightly deeper head design than the F3 fairway and as a result it is a little easier to get up in the air. This is because the launch angle of the F2 is higher than the shorter F3. It is a good solid performer but for us it just lacked that little extra zing feeling to separate it out from the pack. The compact head is aimed at better players and therefore it is not very forgiving. Titleist diehards will like these fairways, but for the same money you can get a Cobra S9-1 Pro, which has a smaller head, but a much better feel and we would prefer to take the risk with the forgiveness for better feel.
