Ping G25 Irons Review
Ping say that they are for players of all abilities and we have to agree with them.
Progressive iron sets have been around for a while, but the Titleist 735 CM irons is the best we have tested so far.
Throughout the set the feel is consistent so you can't feel (and don't care) whether you are hitting a blade or a cavity or something in-between.
The long irons are easy to hit and forgiving, the mid irons are solid and the blade-like short irons are crisp giving excellent feedback.
We particlularly like the thru-bore design of the hosel, which helps gives that extra solid feel.
The heads are a lovely design and are slightly more mid-size than compact, which suits these irons perfectly. An excellent set of irons for the better player. Go buy.

My handicap was 18 when I bought a set of these irons after reading Golfalot's review, and I wasn't disappointed by the purchase. Within 3 rounds of using them I was playing off 13 - and that was in Oct/Nov in strong winds and rain! If the weather settles I'm expecting to get into single figures.
With a sweet feel they really respond to attacking play. I find the transition from cavity to blade seemless. 3 irons on long par 3's are no longer a trial, I'm now having birdie putts on them. Short irons become more aggressive as they encourage the user to attack the flag.
The one thing these clubs give you in abundance is confidence. I wish I'd found them earlier. It's a real boost to know that long irons will perform in colder, wetter weather even off a heavy fairway. I don't have to watch where the ball goes, I can feel it.
They are less forgiving but not ruthless, and they've added yards to my game. I'm using them tomorrow and I'm already smiling.
