TaylorMade V-Steel 3 Wood Graphite Shaft Fairway Wood

TaylorMade 's V Steel fairway woods incorporate a distinctive V-shaped sole design that will minimize turf-resistance at impact, allowing the clubhead to glide squarely through the impact zone without slowing or twisting for longer, straighter shots. Each club is made using the same pull-face method of construction as the R500 Series woods to create a high-strength, 455-steel clubface with a high COR for maximum yardage. The hosel cartridge allows TaylorMade engineers to precisely position the high-density polymeric material used to tune the V Steel's swingweight for the best possible feel.

I bought my TaylorMade V-Steel 3 Wood on eBay while in the US, so I got it for a "steal". It was a stiff shaft graphite with 15 degrees of loft. I had researched the market fairly well for a 3 wood. I used to have the Mizuno Blue Rage, but I had problem getting any height off the ground and when my swing got a bit quick I tended to hook it. The TaylorMade V-Steel has a very solid feel and gets plenty of height, off the tee and the ground. It is very easy to hit and it flies fairly striaght. I am delighted with it and would thoroughly recommend it. It looks good and is well finished, including a slick headcover. I also tried the new Titliest, the Callaway and Adams models.
