Following the success of previous Rossa Monza Spider models TaylorMade have released the Rossa Monza Spider Balero putter. This large mallet putter combines the feel and forgiveness of previous Monza Spider’s with a unique clubhead that makes aiming those putts easier than ever before. Studies of Tour players and club golfers show that on putts of 14 feet and under the average club golfer will aim incorrectly some 64.4% of the time, meaning that around two thirds of missed putts are caused by the player mis-aiming his stroke. The Monza Spider Balero’s clubhead has been designed to ease this problem with a “ball-in-cup” feature at the back of the clubhead providing the visual stimulus that makes lining the putter up with the intended line much simpler.

When a player addresses the ball with the Monza Spider Balero the image of the ball resting at the front of the clubface works with the white line on the putter’s crown and the round hole at the back of the club to make rolling the ball on the exact line you require much simpler. The ball-in-cup design also promotes firm, accelerating strokes by reinforcing the practice of rolling the ball into theback of the hole with conviction. The TaylorMade Rossa Monza Spider Balero’s large head and distinctive shape also delivers a high MOI combined with a low centre of gravity to increase stability and forgiveness and to promote a much smoother role of the face. The Monza Spider Balero’s clubhead is made from a single piece of stainless steel which works with the soft polymer AGSI insert to provide the wonderful feel that fans of the Monza Spider range have come to cherish.
