TaylorMade Rossa Monza Centre Shaft Putter

Each Monza putterhead is forged out of lightweight, 6061 aluminium, a material that makes it possible for Rossa engineers to save an exceptional amount of weight, especially in the front of the head. The CGB Pipes, positioned perpendicular to the clubface, are made of Titallium and precision-filled with tungsten. Titallium is a super-strong alloy comprised of seven lightweight metals that's lighter-yet-stronger than the typical steel used to make putterheads. Monza's CGB Pipes serve a dual purpose: 1) Their length and weighting allow TaylorMade engineers to shift the significant weight that's saved by virtue of using 6061 aluminium from the front of the putterhead to the rear, which moves the center of gravity deep back in the head. This exceedingly deep CG position improves launch conditions considerably by increasing the launch angle and producing an earlier forward roll, resulting in a smoother, almost bounceless roll off the face. 2) The CGB Pipes, which are separated by a vivid, white sight-line, also serve as a powerful optical aid that makes aiming easier, promoting increased accuracy. Rossa's lightweight Titallium insert technology, featured in all Rossa putters, allows Rossa engineers to save weight in the putterface and redistribute that weight to strategic areas in the putterhead, increasing the moment of inertia (MOI) for added forgiveness on mis-hits. Plus, Rossa's Titallium insert technology provides a soft-yet-crisp feel at impact that is tremendously satisfying. What differentiates the Monza Centre-Shaft is its center-shaft construction, with the shaft connected to the center of the putterhead. For players who are prone to leaving the putterface open at impact and pushing putts to the right, a centre-shafted putter is a great choice. Connecting the shaft to the center of the putterhead brings the shaft closer to, and in line with, the putterhead's center of gravity, making it easier to square the putterface to the ball during the forward swing, promoting greater accuracy and better results.
