The TaylorMade RocketBallz ball is a 3-piece, multi-layered ball designed for the golfer who wants to add distance to their game.

Joining the range of drivers, fairway woods, utility clubs and irons, the RocketBallz ball "will add distance to all facets of a golfer's game without having to compromise performance around the greens" according to John Kawaja, TaylorMade's Executive Vice President.

The speed and distance gains in the Rocketballz ball come from two TaylorMade technologies: a proprietary REACT core and a new SPEEDMANTLE. The new core coupled with the SPEEDMANTLE technology, increases velocity and adds spin for all swing speeds. TaylorMade were able to make the Rocketballz ball push the velocity limit and maximise distance.

The improved spin capability comes from TaylorMade's soft IOTHANE cover, which combined with the softer SPEEDMANTLE material, increases spin and bite around the greens.
