The TaylorMade Rescue 11 continues TaylorMade's long hertiage of innovative Rescue Clubs by delivering increased adjustability. The Rescue 11 features Flight Control Technology (FCT) allowing players to adjust the loft of the club, meaning you can change your Rescue 11 by 2' in face angle, 1' in loft change, 1' in lie angle and 1,000 RPM in spin. The deeper face and lower centre of gravity promotes neutral bias for better shaping capability. The white, non-glare crown and black clubface create easy alignment.

The TaylorMade Rescue 11 also comes in a TP version that comes with a heavier shaft plus 4 additional shaft options.

TaylorMade Rescue 11 Utility Club Review

The TaylorMade Rescue 11 utility club features the same white head and black face as the R11 driver and fairway and this certainly makes it easy to align, as well as giving the illusion of being larger than it is, which is perfect for this type of club. The steel head is made using a pull-face construction to allow for a thinner clubface for faster ball speeds and minimum weight. The adjustable flight technology enables you to change the face angle by plus or minus 2 degrees and the loft 1 degree up or down to get the right trajectory for you and we woudl recommend going to a fitting centre with a flight monitor to get the right settings for you as you may be surprised with what you end up with.

Compared to previous versions of the Rescue, we really liked the look of this head at address. The white colour looked great and the small offset and longer head meant it looked very playable. One of the best things was the excellent Adilia RIP shaft that is fitted as standard, although other options are available. This is a very stable shaft that is light and gives a great feel. The sound of the club at impact was great and the low centre of gravity got the ball up on a good trajectory.

The Rescue 11 is available in 4 lofts from 16 degrees up to 23 and a half degrees in the standard version or a TP version that has more shaft option and both of them are well worth a try.

The TM Rescue 11 utility clubs are very much in the traditional line of rescue design with a narrow and deep head that looks much more like a long iron than a fairway wood. The white looks worked well behind the ball and the sound off the face was good. My only problem was the ball flight from the R11 rescue seemed to be too high for my tastes but they were easy to manouvere. Like all the R11 family a quality offering.
