TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch Steel Shaft Irons

The TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch iron is the TaylorMade iron for golfers with slower swings and low ball flight. TaylorMade’s Burner range is already a firm favourite with a wide range of players but the Burner SuperLaunch golf iron allows every golfer to enjoy the quality and performance of Burner.

The Burner SuperLaunch has been designed to offer excellent forgiveness across the clubface and TaylorMade’s most forgiving iron. If your ball striking is inconsistent then the SuperLaunch, with TaylorMade’s highest ever MOI, could be the answer.

CG is located low and deep in the TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch thanks to wide, multifunctional sole. Thanks to the bevel design each sole is designed to reduce interaction with the turf allowing the club to offer stability while offering the control and feel of a narrower sole. A substantial topline also contributes to the stability and forgiveness.

Borrowing from other recent Burner irons the Burner SuperLaunch long, mid and short irons have been designed separately, the long irons boasting a much lower profile compared to the rest of the set. This makes the long irons much easier to get airborne with lower swing speeds as well as making the Burner SuperLaunch look easy to hit throughout the long irons.

TaylorMade have also used progressive face thickness to provide faster ball speed in the thinner faced long irons and better feel in the thicker short irons while Inverted Cone Technology expands the area of the clubface capable of delivering faster ball speeds through the Burner SuperLaunch set.

The TaylorMade Burner SuperLaunch golf iron is the perfect choice for the slower swinger who needs a little extra help to get the ball high and long.

What Golfalot Says

The TaylorMade Burner Superlaunch irons are serious game improver irons. The low profile, high MOI design will enable you to get the ball up in the air effortlessly with maximum forgiveness. They do look like a set of iron hybrids and get very chunky in the short irons, but this si the best version of this style of club that we have tried. The feel is very good and the flight is not overly high and the sound at impact is very good and they are great fun too. What is there not to like?!
