The TaylorMade Burner 2.0 irons build on the success of the original Burner irons to provide golfers with individually designed high performance golf clubs throughout the set.

The original Burner irons were developed in groups with the long irons, middle irons and short irons designed separately. TaylorMade have developed that concept further with the Burner 2.0 irons with each club designed individually to promote uniform distance gaps and delivering a feel and sound that satisfies with each shot. A refined vibration management system also develops the feel and sound of each club.

The individual design of each Burner 2.0 has allowed TaylorMade to precision place the centre of gravity to optimise ball trajectory on each iron. The thin-faced, high COR long iron design offers extra distance while the multi-functional sole lowers the CG and reduces turf drag for higher launch angles.

Flight control shafts mean the TaylorMade Burner 2.0 offer longer, highers long irons shots and quick stopping short irons to give confidence on every shot. TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone Technology has been adapted with each iron containing a specially designed and strategically placed to enhance forgiveness.

The TaylorMade Burner 2.0 irons offer easy launch, distance along with feel and playability.

TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons Review

The TaylorMade Burner 2.0 irons are real game improvement irons for mid to high handicappers. The large head has a big offset and is quite chunky looking, with echoes of old Ping irons in the hosel styling.

The feel from the face at impact was very good and you could feel the ball spring off the face on a high trajectory, but still with a bit of penetration. This iron is all about forgiveness and it certainly delivers and anyone who needs a little help getting the ball up in the air will love the Burner 2.0 irons.

We are not sure about the gun-metal styling combined with the silver face as these colours could fade over time, but at least the silver face will look better for longer. Overall good value for money and definitely one to try.

If you are in the market for game improvers then the TaylorMade Burner 2.0 irons are worth a try as they are easy to hit and very forgiving. I found them a bit clumsy to look at behind the ball with little finesse but they were very easy to hit and let you get away with a lot.
