The TaylorMade R7 TP fairway wood is the movable weight version of the R7 Quad driver, but with only two weights.

This high quality club looks very good at address with a relatively shallow face preferred by the better player. The moveable weights in the TaylorMade R7 TP fairway wood enable you to create a fade or draw show from a normal swing, depending on how you position them.

The feel off the clubhead was very good and off-centre hits were pretty forgiving. The better quality shaft in the TaylorMade R7 TP fairway wood gives good feedback and improves the performance of the club.

A very competent fairway wood and probably the top of the range from TaylorMade, but we feel there are better fairway woods out there for less.

Tried the TaylorMade R7 TP 3 Wood today at my local driving range. Awesome is an understatement. lovely to hit, great trajectory and TLC (taylormade Launch Control) to boot. Price tag is the only put off RRP £299!!. I would have given 4 stars but it's too expensive.

Managed to get to a TaylorMade demo day and try out the new fairway woods. I am looking for a 3 wood for my bag and the R7 TP 3 wood was amazing. Not a big fairway wood person, felt I was being slightly unfaithful to my 2 iron, but hitting it was a thrill. Really solid ball flight and very playable. Prefered it to the Taylormade R5 Dual fairway wood, it has a slightly larger more driver-like head. Didnt get a chance to play around with the weights, but the basic setting was very attractive. Definitely considering the TaylorMade R7 TP 3 wood as the latest addition to my bag!
