The TaylorMade Burner 2.0 irons are real game improvement irons for mid to high handicappers. The large head has a big offset and is quite chunky looking, with echoes of old Ping irons in the hosel styling.

The feel from the face at impact was very good and you could feel the ball spring off the face on a high trajectory, but still with a bit of penetration. This iron is all about forgiveness and it certainly delivers and anyone who needs a little help getting the ball up in the air will love the Burner 2.0 irons.

We are not sure about the gun-metal styling combined with the silver face as these colours could fade over time, but at least the silver face will look better for longer.

Overall good value for money and definitely one to try.

I used Ping i5 for quite a time but found them to be too high launching. I saw a set of these on Gumtree 85 steel regular shaft and decided to go for it. The 2.0 irons are longer due to the loft difference but the face is so much better and they go further and sound better. The feel quite light so head speeds are up. These clubs are solid and have a great feel. Hit them smooth and you get great height. You will not be disappointed that's for sure

Had Mizuno 800 Pro's, Bridgestone CB's ..Pulled out the 2.0's this morning and holy Bat$h!t..Forgot how long and straight these puppies were/are...Mishits were not terrible...zip shanks...I'm a 7 handicap and gonna play these babies again..Great clubs.

I traded in from a decent set of well known graphites to the Burners. TBH it takes a little while getting used to the distances the Burners can reach, the odd shot can go a bit mad on distance. Therefore the only way to play with these babies is full throttle! Love them.

Easy and very good feel. Good distance and nice look.

If you are in the market for game improvers then the TaylorMade Burner 2.0 irons are worth a try as they are easy to hit and very forgiving. I found them a bit clumsy to look at behind the ball with little finesse but they were very easy to hit and let you get away with a lot.
