The Srixon I-701 Tour irons are equally as good as the standard I-701 irons, provided you hit them out of the middle. Forged from 1025 carbon steel they feature the thin top line and minimal offset demanded by better players.
This is where you see the benefit of that big cavity, as the sweet spot on the I-701 Tour irons is much smaller than on the standard irons and unless you are a bit of a masochist or a seriously low handicap golfer, we would recommend the standard I-701 irons.
If you are that type of golfer you will enjoy these irons as they were very easy to shape shots and the feel was also excellent with a very penetrating flight.

Srixon I-701 Tour Irons - Product Details
The Srixon I-701 Tour irons are a nice looking set of irons that do a good job, but I would go for the I-701's before I got these. Unless you play a lot these irons are going to be very hard to get along with as they aren't the most forgiving and the heads seem to be a bit on the small size. The ball does fly great when you catch them, but those miss-hits that we all have, tend to be worse than what you need.
