The Limited Edition Puma Cell Fusion 2 shoe has been released in conjunction with Rickie Fowler wearing the Cell Fusion 2s in the final round of the 2011 Open Championship where he finished 5th. 50 pairs of the Puma Cell Fusion 2 shoes were made available.

The upper part of the shoe is made from a microfibre synthetic leather and heat cut TPU quarter panels that provide additional medial to lateral support and stability. The midsole features CM-EVA with grooves to enhance forefoot flex and forefoot and heel iCELL technology components which function within the midsole of the shoe’s fabric, enhancing the cushioning and stabilizing value of the shoe. Finally, the outsole is made up of a TPU outsole and directional, intentionally-moulded Smart Quills as well as new replaceable Smart Quill spikes using Fast Twist directional locking technology by Pride.
