Powerbilt Air Foil Driver

The PowerBilt Air Foil driver has been designed to break through the existing limits of driver technology. PowerBilt have devoted 90 years to developing new golf club technology: the Air Foil Driver continues that tradition and consistently adds 10 to 20 yards to drives in the process.

The Air Foil driver replaces the internal supports of traditional drivers with pressurised Nitrogen. This unique Nitrogen Charged technology has allowed PowerBilt to tailor the Air Foil’s face thickness to each golfer’s needs. The Powerbilt Air Foil is available with a face thickness of 2.6mm for golfers with slower swing speeds. The thinner face delivers maximum COR and the power at impact that can normally only be achieved by faster swings. Working with the Nitrogen Charged technology, the thin face helps produce a spin rate that ensures each shot stays airborne for longer.

The Airfoil is also available with a face of 2.8mm for those golfers with swing speeds of 100 mph or more. The slightly thicker face helps to reduce the spin rate and remove the risk of ballooning that can mean a loss of distance for golfers with faster swings.

The PowerBilt’s Air Foil also increases accuracy as the removal of internal supports removes the hot or dead spots from the clubface. This means that even off centre hits stay on line and dispersion is reduced.

Offering technology, distance and accuracy the PowerBilt Air Foil Driver marks a major breakthrough for driver design. The Air Foil and its Nitrogen Charged technology has R&A and USPGA approval.

I grew up in central Kentucky where, in the 60's, Powerbilt was King. As such, I played Powerbilt clubs for 20 years. I saw their booth at the PGA SHow in Orlando and decided to hit a few. I was impressed.

I ordered the 10.5 degree driver with Regular Fujikura shaft. My Cobra L5V was averaging 195-205 yards. The new Powerbilt Air Force One Driver got me 205-251 yards. I can work a fade or a draw from the tee. This is staying in my bag!

I then ordered the Air Foil Nitrogen Charged irons, 4-PW + AW + SW. My accuracy greatly improved over my Callaway Fusion wide soles. My handicap took a nose dive from 21 in Feb to 14 in June.

Thanks Powerbilt!
