The Ping Tour-W Brushed Silver wedge features a tungsten weight in the toe of the club which increases the moment of inertia and improves forgiveness. The use of this high-density material also allows the club to be slightly smaller for increased playability out of various conditions. By using a vertical Custom Tuning Port (CTP), Ping engineers were able to move the centre of gravity down and forward to allow the correct head rotation during a shot.
