Golfalot Best Buy

The Ping Sydney putter is one of PING’s highest-MOI models. The Sydney's frame features three, 8-gram tungsten weights for optimising balance and forgiveness. It is milled from a high-grade aluminum finished with a highly durable nano nickel coating. The bold red alignment bar on the back of the putter aids a golfers alignment. In order to eliminate twisting and keep putts on line, the Ping Sydney putter has a symmetrical shape for a square set up and also features extreme perimeter weighting that elevates the MOI.

Ping Sydney Putter Review

The Ping Sydney putter is probably of the best looking high-MOI putters that Ping have made and possibly in the market today. Most of these 'X' style putters would be more at home on the ranch being placed steaming hot on the buttocks of an unsuspecting animal. However the Ping Sydney is more at home on the greens and even though the overall body of the putter is quite large, the light chrome satin finish and the colour of the red alignment aid makes the latter stand out more and you are focussing on the aligment and not much else.

So visually it is great but the other thing we liked is that it is not as heavy as you would expect. The aluminium body is light and even the 3 weights in the back of the putter are not that noticeable, so this is a beautifully balanced putter. In action the feel from the putter was excellent with a soft but firm feel if you know what I mean from this all metal face giving you plenty of feedback and a smile on your face. One of the better high MOI face balanced putters around and well worth a try.
