The Ping Rapture 5 Wood is unusual in that the head size is a massive 192cc, which is what most normal 3-woods are. We don't really see this as an issue as the club was very easy to hit and it was very forgiving from the tee and the fariway. The added confidence this gives you is great. Compared to older Ping wood models this looks great at address too. The larger head of the Ping Rapture 5 wood means that it launches the ball at a higher trajectory, so the loft on the club is reduced to 17 degrees to make it play like a normal 5-wood. Make sure you check this out before you buy. Overall a very good club, but a bit on the pricey side so I am not sure we could say it was value for money.
