Nike VR_S Covert Tour Utility Club

Just days after launching their bright VR_S Covert driver, Nike has expanded the Covert operation by adding the Nike VR_S Covert Tour hybrid.

The VR_S Covert Tour is Nike's first hybrid that offers Dual Axis adjustability. Offered in either a 3H or 5H model, the loft of each club can be adjusted to a range of 4 degrees, using a simple pull, turn, and push/tighten mechanism.

Typically if you adjust the loft of a club, you are also impacted the way the club sits on the ground, i.e. face angle. With Nike's new FlexLoft adjustability, that issue is solved and by de-coupling the loft and face angle, you can adjust each independantly to find the optimium ball flight for your needs.

Along with the FlexLoft technology, Nike's hard-working engineers have made tweaks to their NexCOR face. The high speed clubface technology varies the thickness of the wall behind the face to produce faster ball speeds, especially on shots struck on the bottom half, where Nike have found most golfers are likely to make contact.

"With the combination of High Speed Cavity Back, FlexLoft, and NexCOR technology, we are able to maximize distance, control, and consistency for every club in the bag. Athletes now have the performance they demand, as well as adaptability for any condition.” - Nike's Director of Club Creation, Tom Stites.
