The Nike SQ Dymo Drivers offer all golfers an unprecedented combination of distance and performance. Dymo stands for Dynamic Moment of Inertia that is driven from the optimal combination of head size and geometry, centre of gravity location, loft / lie angles and spin ratio. All of the SQ Dymo Drivers make optimal use of Nike Golf’s proprietary Power Bow Weighting to deliver the performance and shot making capabilities that are demanded by all golfers. The 9.5-degree model of the SQ Dymo has less weighting and a higher face together with a centre of gravity located further forward, promoting a penetrating trajectory with less spin, while the higher lofted 10.5, 11.5 and 13 degree models gradually increase in weight which moves the centre of gravity back and down in the slightly shallower face to promote higher launch angles. These combinations in the different club set up ensure maximum carry and roll for increased overall distance, whilst as loft increases so does the lie angle of the club that also helps to promote long and straight drives. The Nike SQ Dymo features a headshape that is rounder in outline, delivering the club mass in a more traditional shape to provide precise feel and control.

The Nike SQ Dymo Driver is the more traditional shaped high MOI driver. It certainly looks good at address and the forgiveness and distance is very good. Compared to the square version of the same model it does go a little further. However we felt the square version sounded a little better, but it is not really a big issue as the extra length and performance of the Nike SQ Dymo Driver more than outweighs any reservations on this front for the better player. The head design is clean and classy and the change in the weightings as you move up the lofts is a welcome development. Overall this is a very solid club and definitely one to try out.
