The Nike SasQuatch Sumo2 driver is the first to make it cool to be square. Following in the giant footprint of the ground-breaking Nike Golf SasQuatch driver, Nike Golf has evolved the leading innovation of geometric design to bring golfers even more distance, forgiveness and accuracy through new record levels of MOI. Named SUMO for the Super Moment of Inertia created by Nike Golf's geometric designs, the Nike SasQuatch Sumo2 sports the distinctive yellow soleplate as the original SasQuatch. Now even more visually distinctive due to its square head design, the SasQuatch Sumo2 driver features golf's highest MOI of 5300. This advanced MOI is created by the geometric square design combined with the utilization of a multi-material construction. A deeper beta titanium face, a titanium body and a composite crown combine to bring about material weight savings that are redistributed into the square design, making the driver hotter, longer and more responsive. As such, the square geometry dramatically enhances the SQ PowerBow and SQ Max Back Centre of Gravity (CG) technologies, which work together to increase MOI.

Nike SasQuatch Sumo2 Driver Review

Maybe there had been too much hype, but we were a little under-whelmed with the Nike Sasquatch Sumo2. If you are as long as Fred Funk and as accurate as John Daly, then this will not transform you into being as accurate as Funk and as long as Daly. That said it is a very forgiving club on off-centre hits, but if you cut or hook it then it will still move. The composite crown does not give as much feedback as the all titanium head of the Sumo driver and the noise at impact will certainly get you noticed. Unlike Callaway's square dirver, there are no weights in the back of the head, which looks very good depsite being an unusual shape. The Sumo2 is definitely a club for the mid to high handicapper who hits a lot of off-centre shots. Better players should go for the more traditionally shaped Nike Sasquatch Sumo driver

What a weird but wonderful sound! The Nike SasQuatch Sumo2 is the club for the golfer who likes to turn heads on the course or on the range. The distance is also amazing and so much straighter of the tee. That MOI stuff really does work!

Great noise, feels really good even on off centre strikes and you also get a high straight launch, but takes some getting used to. Great club.
