The Nike Method Core has been added to the Method family of Nike putters and brings a new unique polymer-aluminium insert. The Method Core is constructed with an aluminium insert face that is backed with polymer all the way through the small milled grooves.
The design of the polymer-aluminium insert lessens impact vibrations and provides a pure sound, grabbing the ball at impact, resulting in a smooth, more controlled forward roll at impact. This helps eliminate backspin which causes skidding and miss-direction. Nike think this revolutionary and visibly distinctive red insert decreases backspin, which was expressed by Nike Golf athletes as an important ingredient to their putting accuracy, distance control and ultimate putting success. The less backspin, the more “true” the putt will roll.
The Nike Method Core putter will be available in five models to enable golfers to match their putters to their distinct putting style. The Method Core range from 1-5 consist of 3 blade style putters, 1 mid-mallet and 1 mallet.
