Nike claim not one but two milestone advances in golf club technology with their Ignite driver - NexTi and the Around the Crown design. NexTi is the next evolution of Titanium, following Beta-Titanium, which is currently the standard for driver face material. Some of the world's top metallurgists developed NexTi exclusively for Nike Golf. The result is a layered yet tightly compressed metal that is thinner, lighter, and stronger than Beta-Titanium. Additionally, NexTi microfibres can be bent, shaped and formed unlike previous forms of titanium. NexTi's unique strength even when bended and formed allowed Nike to expand the sweet spot of the club head to the edges of the face. Nike Golf's engineers developed the Around the Crown construction that actually wraps the face over the top line of the club head. Before the introduction of NexTi, the Around the Crown construction was effectively unattainable in the more forgiving larger head drivers without the risk of the face collapsing. Nike Golf also discovered that by combining NexTi with the Around the Crown construction, it could increase the COR to as high as .890. In the development of the Ignite 410 driver Nike Golf started with club head faces that significantly exceeded the Tour standard of .830 then dialed it back to legal limits rather than starting with a lower COR and building upon it. The result is two models; the Tour conforming Ignite and the Extreme COR Ignite+ which is non-conforming for Tour use.

Nike Ignite 410 Graphite Shaft Driver Review

Of the two Nike Ignite drivers we prefer this Ignite 410 driver to the 460 version. Both are very good clubs with large heads for plenty of confidence and masses of power and forgiveness. The feel and sound of the 410 is just a little sharper, probably because of the smaller head. However we feel this makes it more enjoyable and as such we would go for the Nike Ignite 410 driver, unless you want the extra size of a 460cc head, which let's fact it can't be knocked. Good offerings in shafts, with the standard Nike shaft coming with a soft tip to get the ball airborne more easily.

Replaced my Callaway with a Nike Ignite 410 driver, 9 degree stiff. Quite simply an awesome piece of kit that importantly is easy to use, very accurate and so long it's incredible. Cannot recommend a club as much as this.

For me the Nike Ignite 410 driver is a better club then the Nike Ignite 460 driver. Although the head is a little smaller, you get a much better feel, sound and feedback. The ball flight is excellent and I tried it with the standard graphite shaft which was very consistent. Overall an excellent club at a good price.
