Last autumn, Nike Golf introduced golfers to the magic of the OZ putter, one of the first putters from the industry?s newest club baron. The most prolific of the Blue Chip (BC) series, the OZ, has been a tremendous hit among golfers this past year. Building upon that success, Nike Golf is unveiling the BC OZ T100 mallet putter. So what?s the magic behind the new OZ? It?s actually a 100-gram Tungsten plug in the extreme rear of the clubhead that accounts for 30 percent of the head?s overall weight. The rear weighting reduces skidding and allows a truer roll on putts of all lengths. The BC OZ T100 has a unique and striking look and must be seen. The Blue Chip series gets its name from the striking blue, feel-enhancing face insert that is 73 percent softer than stainless steel. The OZ T100 is face balanced, and the 100-gram Tungsten plug doubles as an alignment aid along with parallel and perpendicular site lines. New to the BC series is the C-Thru Grip from Golf Pride, a high-tack, soft, thermoplastic rubber paddle style grip that wraps around the OZ T100?s double bend stepless steel shaft.
