The Nike VR Pro Fairway wood has a tour-inspired head design that is more rounded than past models, but offers tour-inspired performance in return.
The plain, rounded head design features a blank crown with no alignment aid, but benefits from Nike's STR8-FIT and Compression Channel technology.
Like the driver the VR Pro Fairways are a significant improvement on the previous Victory Red fairways.
It performed very well both off the tee and the fairway and we think it good be a good value club for mid to low handicap player.
We found the STR8-FIT adjustability is a little harder to use than other adjustable clubs, but this is one of the few manufacturers to offer it in a fairway wood and we were impressed by the difference it offers in varying ball flight.
