The Nike Golf SV Tour Black Satin wedge is a very classy looking club.

In our tests it performed very well and gave good amounts of spin and a lovely soft feel at impact.

We tried a 56 degree/14 degree bounce sand iron and the grind on the sole easily allowed you to open the face and get the clubhead under the ball from a variety of lies.

The swingweight was around D6 and most of this was due to the S400 Dynamic Gold steel shaft in the club, which is a little heavier then the usual S300 you find in most wedges.

This meant you felt the shaft more than the head, so if that is how you like it then this is the club for you.

I only recently picked this club up second hand. Was 60 Degree version. I have used Titleist Vokey wedges for about the last 12 years, the club had an excellent soft feel on chip or bunker shots, and can produce high level of spin.

The Nike SV Tour Black satin is not a bad wedge. Lovely soft feel on those delicate shots and a solid feel when hitting it full out. It has a good classic look and the dark finish does give it that little bit extra. A good wedge that should find its way into many a golf bag.
