The Nicklaus Golf High CT iron is state-of-the-art. Consisting of a plasma-welded, two-piece head design, the Nicklaus High CT begins with an ultra thin face composed of high strength C455 carpenter steel. The face connects to the body of the iron only around the perimeter, where it is plasma-welded. This allows for maximum face flexibility, and the highest “CT” (trampoline effect measurement) allowed by the USGA in an iron. The end result is an explosive clubface that produces tremendous ball velocity. Additional features of the Nicklaus High CT include progressive offset & sole width – more offset with a wider sole on long irons, and less offset with a thinner sole on short irons. The body of the club head is constructed of 17-4, cast stainless steel.
