The Mixuno MX Fli-Hi Utility club provides a direct replacement for the 3, 4 or 5 iron by embracing Y-Tune technology to provide a high flying and soft landing club. A unique crop down crown, coupled with exact iron lengths, provide the option of adjusting lie angles to suit custom fitted Mizuno iron sets. The use of Y-Tune technology and increased sole thickness extends the MX Fli-Hi's effective hitting area much higher into the toe to match the miss hit pattern of most amateurs. The Mizuno MX Fli-Hi allows for confident ball striking thanks to the heel weighted draw bias.

Mizuno MX Fli-Hi Utility Club Review

The Mixuno MX Fli-Hi utility club is an excellent rescue club which will fit in well to any MX set of clubs. The long, large clubhead gives you lots of confidence, yet the feel at impact is very solid. We were pleasantly surprised by the trajectory of the shots from our 3-iron version which were similar to that of one of the MX irons. Not only did this keep the ball flight down but it was easy to shape shots if required as the club feels more like an iron to play than a wood. Unless you really love your long irons we would advise you to get a couple of these Mixuno MX Fli-Hi rescue clubs in your bag as they can be custom fit to replace a 3, 4 or 5 iron. Another great hybrid club from Mizuno.

Fantastic ball flight from a club that is solid enough to let you feel incredibly comfortable. The option of using this club from the sort of positions that I wouldn't even consider playing a longer iron is certainly reassuring and this will turn out to be shot saver if you have it in your bag. I first used this club on the sort of day that convinces that you golf should be a fair weather sport and it stayed consistent, forgiving and reliable through the battering of the wind and rain. And I came inches away from my first ever hole in one on the 17th. If I hadn't been convinced already that was more than enough to get the MX Fli Hi my vote.
