The Mizuno MP-60 Cut Muscle Cavity iron continues to maximize the performance for today's more aggressive game. The Grain Flow Forged MP-60 is 4% larger and has a 10% larger sweet area when compared to its outstanding Cut Muscle counterpart, the MP-32. The Cut Muscle design in the Mizuno MP-60 delivers a slightly higher ball flight in the long irons, and a mid trajectory in the scoring irons, while the Cut Muscle design precisely positions the COG in each club for a consistent and predictable ball flight. The MP-60’s feature an innovative Cut Muscle Cavity design that provides ideal COG locations, perfect trajectory, enhanced solid feel and increased forgiveness. The grain Flow Forged, 1025 select mild carbon steel provides the ultimate soft, solid, consistent feel. They come with a durable double nickel chrome plated finish and modified U-grooves produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions. Rolled leading edge, cambered mid-sole, and rolled trailing edge deliver consistent striking ability from all types of lies.

Mizuno MP-60 Irons Review

The Mizuno MP-60 iron is the answer to the prayers of mid to low handicap golfers. Over the last year we have been thinking 'wouldn't it be good to have the performance and headsize of the MP-23 blades combined with the forgiveness of the MP-30 hybrids'. Lo and behold Mizuno were thinking the same thing and the result is the MP-60. The head size is a little bigger than the MP-30, but you still get the benefit of the cut-muscle design. The hybrid design not only looks great, but gives the club a little more forgiveness and much better feel than the MP-32. The acclaimed Mizuno forging process means you get great feel combined with the ability to shape the ball anyway you want. Every now and then Mizuno create some classic models that raise the bar and stand the test of time, such as the TP-9 & TP-11 blades, the T-Zoid Pro hybrids. We think the MP-60 is one of these and serious golfers should definitely check these out. Bear in mind Mizuno irons lie flatter than most so go for the custom fit option if you are higher than your average Japanese golfer!

I play with a handicap of 8 and have the Mizuno T-Zoid Pro II's. However I can vouch for these Mizuno MP-60 irons personally as I tried them at the National Mizuno fitting centre in Surrey. They look and feel great, and will make you want to play more golf with them (as an advert in Golf World magazine states). Great stuff, I have already started saving.

Tried these Mizuno MP-60 irons at the Fitting Centre in Surrey as well, totally convinced, loved them, so easy to hit. Am waiting for my order of 3-PW as we speak!! Probably would have bought them anyway just based on looks! Thanks Mizuno!!
