With the new MP-30, Mizuno believes it has created the perfect serious players iron with a unique Grain Flow Forging process. Unlike the MP-33, the MP-30 head profile features a subtle progressive half-cavity and offset. A deeper cavity and more offset provides ease of use in the long irons, while the shallower cavity and less offset in the short irons allow for increased feedback and control. The MP-30 also features a 10% wider sole, 4% larger face profile and 1mm thicker top line than the MP-33, creating a less intimidating profile at address. A triple cut sole delivers adaptability from all lies and modified U-grooves dictate that well struck balls bite into the green. The irons come with True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shafts

Simple strong looking irons, from 2-PW. The Mizuno MP-30 irons look great on the eye which helps a lot with confidence. Great feel from hit from sweetspot and also quite forgiving for off-centre shots. Stiff shaft option has given me more control and allows me to shape shots as required. Mizuno's custom fitting is very helpful in getting most from new clubs. These are not game improvment clubs for those new to the game but will help those established players looking to get more from their golf.

No doubt the Mizuno MP-30 irons are excellent. Recommend considering custom fitting as specs are flat on lie and short on length when compare to most clubs off the rack. I went 3 degress up and 1/2 inch longer, DG S300 steel shafts after fitting. Set up is square and ball flight is boring, mid trajectory. Feel is absolutely the best around. The Mizuno MP-30 irons have very soft clubheads though, will ding easily. The PW is the best club I have used for chipping around the green. Surprisingly forgiving.

I have just recently changed to Mizuno MP-30 Irons and I am hugely impressed with them. I changed from Ping i3s and the Mizuno MP-30s are far more consistent and solid irons. They have a simple look mixed with an element of reliability and forgiveness that only Mizuno could produce. They can be easy worked and adapted to shape iron shots and will rarely produced a weak contact. I found the immediate ball flight higher than I am used to, but they are very adaptable to low punch shots as well as high stopping iron shots. I have X-100 Dynamic Gold shafts in them and have them one inch longer. I found the custom fitting aspect greatly helpful in considering new irons. I remember trying Mizuno irons when I was a slightly weaker player and struggled to find the middle of the club, but I think if you are a good player, Mizuno irons can only improve you game. I don?t think I will use another set of irons in my life, they are extremely solid.
