I have had this Mizuno Mp-001 3 wood in the bag for a while. I love it - great looking club - if looks could kill this one would. Mizuno have combined the graphite and steel well to give you the Mizuno MP-001 3 Wood that has plenty of weight at the back. This means a good easy swing will help launch the club in the air. If you connect well it will go a good distance and be accurate. What type of person should use this club? I would say somebody who is a mid to low handicapper. It is not as easy to use as people make it out to be. However patience and some hard work and you will be hitting the ball miles - ok maybe not miles but a couple of hundred yards no problem. If you have the cash, buy it, as it is money well worth spending. I will not be changing this club for a while.

Strange for a company known for its irons, but this Mizuno MP-001 3 Wood was really good. Sits like a Sonartec, with its dark neck and clubhead. Looks great behind the ball. Very solid striking, with a low ball flight. I was surprised and impressed by the Mizuno MP-001 3 Wood but I still think the Sonartec range is better.
