Two distinct forged metals are used: a harder 4140 Carbon Steel is used in the long irons for greater distance and a softer 1045 Carbon Steel is used in the short irons for more spin and control. Tungsten weights in the long irons create an easy, high launch. Progressive V-FOIL back weighting in the short irons provides more workability and control. V-Foil Speed Technology and the M565 design produce an iron system. The long irons, 2-6, deliver high trajectory, more distance and forgiveness. The short irons, 7-PW, provide more spin and control. All M565 irons deliver the forged advantage ' shot consistency, distance control and unbeatable feel.
